"Art is long.  Life is short.  A picture can become for us a highway between a particular thing and a universal feeling."  ~ Lawren Harris

Statement

"Start with a broom, finish with a needle."

Minimalist surrealism is a suitable description of my work.

My paintings usually incorporate pattern infused landscapes, spheres, figures (or hints of embedded figures) and compositional elements of the golden ratio.

My ideas start as fixed visions but change depending on what might be working in progress.

Brooms to needles, minimal and surreal,
figures, horizons and spheres.
Patterns with movement and ratios reveal,
pictures that pop with zeal.
